So, I’ve read one book towards my goal, and am a quarter of the way through the second book now. Not the best reading start yet, but it’s still early in the game and I have been getting other non-reading things accomplished as well.
The blanket I am crocheting is coming along nicely, it’s about 3.5 x 3.5ish so far. The bonus to doing these blanket projects in the winter.. once I reach a certain size it keeps my lap nice and toasty warm.
I’ve been doing side practice projects to learn other stich combinations. So far I’ve practiced the chevron (wave) stitch and currently I am working on doing the trellis pattern. I’m doing blankets first because the repetition should help me get the stitches down before I work on the smaller scale, more precise patterns out there. =)
Our mini lops are doing well. They seem to be socializing themselves nicely so far. Sage will let us pet her now and is very curious about us. Rose is a bit slower to let use toch her, but she does come over to us when ever she can. =) Their progress is slow, but wonderful. Our cat’s have shown signs of jealousy as of late with the lops being in the house, so that has been interesting to deal with. Shamus has taken to drinking Sage’s water, and laying in Rosemary’s litter box?? And they both are a tad more whiney than I remember them being. They Are getting better, but I have a feeling this could take a while.

I had sent out a Facebook wide message about the move, but just in case some missed it, there you go. My old one is still there, but under a gaming name for now because it was pointed out that I have paid for some game packs there and I would lose them if I deleted that account. So, for now anyhow, the game’y one will stay open until I am sure that I have gotten my ‘money’s worth’ so to speak.
Before it is asked, Yes.. those that want to Can re-add themselves to the games account again, while it is still up, if they play games. BUT as soon as you’re not playing games all I ask is Remove My Game account please. I won’t be using filters their and I will delete people the second they say they aren’t ‘into games anymore’.
